THE FIRST STEP TO BUILDING YOUR HOME
Almacenes Femenías was founded in Mallorca in 1936. We are dedicated, fundamentally, to the distribution and commercialization of building materials: tiles, pavements, bathroom furniture and taps.
We work with national and imported firms, all of them at the forefront of technology and aesthetics. This guarantees the fulfilment of our main objective, to offer technical and decorative solutions providing an advisory service to our customers in construction and renovation projects.
More than 85 years of professional experience guarantee our work and customer service, focused on quality, design, technology and commitment to the environment.

The company started in 1936 when the founder Jaime Femenías bought a small business selling lime, plaster and cement in Llucmajor, near Palma de Mallorca. Later, Gregorio Jaume (1937-2021), Magdalena Femenías’ husband, Jaime’s daughter, took over Almacenes Femenías, making it a reference in the construction sector in the Balearic archipelago. Since then, the company has not stopped growing. The growth has been manifested through the increase in the offer and variety of products and the opening of several new centres strategically located around the island that are still in operation today.

In 1962, due to the high demand from the tourism sector, the need arose to open a center in S’Arenal, Playa de Palma. It was later in 1984, when the first center was opened in Palma, specifically in the Son Castelló industrial estate. A center of large dimensions and with a strategic location, which made it an important asset for the company, although it was in 2012 due to the growth experienced by it, when it was finally decided to move the warehouse to a new warehouse in the Polígono de Son Rossinyol, intended to be the distribution warehouse while Son Castelló became the Showroom of the company, where all the interior design and decoration products are exposed. Finally, in 1999 another center was opened in the Son Noguera industrial estate in Llucmajor, where the offices and administration were mainly located, although it also functioned as a logistics and distribution center. Subsequently, these departments were moved to the Almacenes Femenías center in Polígono Son Rossinyol.
Almacenes Femenías is once again proud to have five locations after the recent opening, at the beginning of 2024, of its logistics center located on 16 de julio street in Polígono Son Castelló. It is a 2000 square meter space where we continue to offer the highest quality and greater comfort, excellence that is part of our DNA.
Nowadays Almacenes Femenías is still a family business that maintains the values of a traditional, close and local company, while continuing to grow in the interior design and construction sector, both nationally and internationally.
Gregorio Jaume’s children, Antonia, Juan and Juan Jaime Jaume, joined the business in the 80s, following in their father’s footsteps. Juan is now the commercial director and Antonia is the general manager. Both of them run the company with the same values and philosophy as their father, looking at the future, but always prioritizing quality and good design.
In recent years Jaime Jaume’s sons, Gori Jaume in the commercial department and institutional relations and Jaime Jaume in the logistics department, have joined the company. Also Jerónima Jaume, daughter of Juan Jaume in the design and product department and Neus Tomás, daughter of Antonia Jaume in the financial department form the fourth generation of the Femenías family, adding freshness and constant innovation to the team.
With the restless and hardworking spirit of Mr. Gregorio Jaume, the soul of our company is kept alive, one of the most consolidated companies in the construction sector in Mallorca, driven by the interest of preserving the architecture, culture and art of our land. Through our products and services we seek to add value to the architecture and interior design of each project, maintaining our commitment to the preservation of the natural and cultural heritage of the island through a system of respectful, sustainable and efficient actions.
This is not only my work results, my children, Antonia, Juan and Jaime are seriously involved in it. And a whole team of responsible people who love the company_.
